Christmas Decorations & Gift Tags Pottery Workshop

Get into the festive spirit with a relaxed session of Christmas making in the studio.
Create your own collection of handmade ceramic Christmas decorations or gift tags to bring out year after year, add to beautifully wrapped presents, or give as thoughtful handmade gifts.
During the workshop, you’ll create up to 6 ceramic pieces, choosing from a range of shapes, styles and surface decoration techniques.
You’ll have plenty to play with, including:
- Christmas-shaped cutters
- Christmas pottery stamps
- Tissue transfers
- Underglazes
- Texture and surface decoration techniques
Mix and match the techniques to make each piece completely your own - keep things traditional, go colourful and playful, or create something that fits your own Christmas style.
Your workshop includes the making, glazing and firing of up to 6 pieces. If inspiration takes over and you’d like to make more, additional decorations or gift tags can be created for $15 each, which includes glazing and firing.
After the workshop, your pieces will be carefully dried and bisque fired before being clear glazed and fired for a second time.
Your finished pieces will be ready to collect from the studio approximately 2–3 weeks after the workshop.
