Soak up the creative atmosphere of a working pottery studio and join the studio community of makers. Work under the tutorage of artist Carys Martin to learn the techniques and tricks to creating in clay and to explore the different surface decoration options.
Its early, but I know there are a few of you who love to plan ahead with your Xmas creations Join me in the studio Sunday 17th November 10am - 12noon and create your own Christmas decorations. You will be able to create and decorate between 6-8 Xmas decorations depending how complex a design you choose. Carys will share some making and decorating techniques with you and you will be able to create and decorate using Xmas cutters, underglazes and tissue transfers.
I will then carefully dry your piece before its first firing and will clear glaze and fire your piece. It will be ready for collection from the studio in 2-3 weeks.
