Introductory Printmaking - celestial lino prints. Sunday 2nd June 9:30am - 12

Join Carys in the studio on Sunday 2nd June 9:30am - 12, to create your own celestial lino print.  We will be printing using black ink on white paper and handmade papers. Think Sun and moon, zodiac signs, constellations, angels, spirits, stars and planets! I will have a number of templates of designs to use or you can bring your own simple image.

This workshop is an introduction to lino carving, using modern materials to make your very own carved stamp. Learn how to plan and carve your own lino block using one of Carys's templates or your own design and learn how to make a print from the block. During the workshop we will experiment with different printing techniques and different types of papers. 

You will leave the workshop with your own printing block and prints of your design. 

No experience necessary.
