Rising Sun Mug with Citrine
Handcrafted Ceramic for Renewal, Joy & Creative Flow
Radiating warmth, rhythm, and energy, this vivid mug captures the spirit of a new beginning. Hand-sculpted with a sun rising over swirling ocean waves, it’s a symbol of hope, renewal, and the powerful flow of life. The sun’s golden rays spill over deep blue waters, reflecting the ever-turning dance of light and emotion.
Whispers of the Rising Sun…
Across ancient cultures, sunrise is a sacred threshold — a moment when darkness softens, the world stirs awake, and the promise of renewal returns. It’s the daily reminder that no matter what has come before, we can begin again.
The Rising Sun Mug honours this quiet yet powerful rebirth. Carved sunrays crest over ocean waves, echoing the movement of tides, emotions, and the rhythm of life itself.
Nestled into the handle is a citrine crystal, the stone of joy, confidence, abundance, and creative flow. Long associated with sunlight and personal power, citrine is believed to:
• Spark optimism and bring uplifting golden energy
• Encourage motivation, courage, and self-expression
• Support creativity and forward momentum
• Clear stuck or stagnant energy, making space for new beginnings
Together, the rising sun, flowing water, and citrine’s warm glow create a vessel for mornings filled with light, purpose, and presence — a reminder to rise, shine, and follow your brightest path.
These items are handmade at every stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade. These photos are a representation of the piece from this collection you will receive.
