This vessel is a prayer to the old ways, a tribute to the standing stones and stone circles that rise from the earth across Celtic lands. Carved into its surface are spirals and markings reminiscent of Neolithic rock carvings - symbols of the ancestors, gateways between worlds, and maps of the cosmos etched in stone thousands of years ago.

The glaze flows in deep green, crimson, and twilight indigo, echoing the colours of sacred earth and sky at dusk. Etched in shimmering gold, the spiral patterns hold the essence of Celtic ritual, honouring cycles of life, death, and rebirth. At the handle rests a polished Quartz Wand, the master crystal of clarity and amplification. Known since ancient times as a stone of power, quartz connects the bearer to spirit and magnifies intention like light through glass.

Hand-shaped with devotion, this mug is more than a vessel - it is an altar in your hands. Each sip is an offering, each moment of pause a step into the circle, where the voices of stone, land, and ancestor still hum beneath the earth.

These items are handmade at every stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade.
