Create your own pendant or ornamental terrarium filled with miniature marvels. Andree will guide you through the process of modelling tiny mushrooms, pebbles and foliage from an array of artist quality polymer clay colours including glow-in-the-dark. Add a tiny snail, bird or insect to give your miniature creation a touch of whimsy. Your polymer clay project will be cured and assembled during the workshop so you can take your completed project home with you. All skill levels are catered for so you are sure to come away with the sweetest little woodland pendant and matching earrings or a tiny ornamental terrarium. All materials provided.
Meet the facilitator:
Andree Young is a self-taught artist who has been sculpting life-like miniatures for over thirty years. Polymer clay is her medium of choice for its durability, versatility and its ability to hold the finest detail. Andree has taught children and adults the joys of sculpting in miniature since 2002. The creation of wearable, hand-sculpted miniatures in the form of polymer clay jewellery for Itsy Betsy Shop is currently her main focus. Andree also enjoys making custom caricature cake toppers from polymer clay.
