As an independent creature, the hare is often seen as a lone figure in a meadow, grazing under the light of the moon. Due to its link to the cycles of the moon and fertility, the hare possesses powerful feminine energy and is greatly admired for its strength, speed and beauty. Some believe the hare is a creature of the Goddess herself with powers of resurrection and creation.
