These rings not only serve as stylish accessories but also provide a tactile experience for those who like to keep their hands busy.
Join me for a fun and creative workshop, and learn how to design and fabricate textured rings using recycled metals.
The basic silversmithing techniques of ring making including metal texturing, hand sawing, filing, soldering, sanding and polishing will be explored using a variety of tools. You will have the opportunity to add your own creative touches to your rings along the way while learning key techniques and skills.
The workshop will run for 5 hours during which you will be making 2-3 rings.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING / WEAR:
o All necessary tools and materials will be provided on the day
o Pen and paper to take notes
o Enclosed shoes
o No loose items of clothing (as they may get caught in equipment)
o Hair tied back
o Glasses, if you need them to see up close or for detailed work.
Conditions
This workshop is designed for children aged 16 years and over.
There is a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 10 participants to allow for individual tuition.
