Owl of Blodeuwedd
Handcrafted Ceramic Vessel for Intuition, Transformation & Wild Beauty
This luminous ceramic owl is crowned with blossoms and foliage, glazed in soft woodland hues of misty green, sky blue, and golden dusk. With wide, knowing eyes and feathered detailing, it carries the presence of something more than an owl — it is a vessel of myth, memory, and moonlight.
This piece is inspired by Blodeuwedd, the flower-faced goddess of Welsh mythology. Formed from blossoms by the magicians Math and Gwydion, Blodeuwedd was transformed into an owl as both a punishment and a liberation — cursed never to show her face by day, yet forever gifted with night vision, wisdom, and fierce independence.
She became a symbol of the untamed feminine, of becoming through betrayal, and of claiming one’s shadow. In her owl form, she reminds us to trust our instincts, embrace our full selves, and walk boldly through the dark.
Whether used as a vase, altar piece, or sacred object, this owl is a tribute to the deep, hidden parts of the self that are ready to rise.

Invocation of Blodeuwedd
Lady of Flowers,
Owl of the Night,
You who were shaped from blossom and spell,
Teach me to honour the full cycle—
Bloom, fall, and rise again.
Guide me to see in the dark,
To trust my truth when it is not welcomed,
To listen to the whispering woods
And remember that I am wild, too.
Blodeuwedd, goddess of becoming,
Let your story live in me—
Not as tragedy, but transformation.
