A Blessing Beneath the Stars...

In Celtic tradition, both the sun and moon were seen as powerful, living spirits – the sun a guardian of life and courage, the moon a keeper of dreams and deep knowing. When joined together, they represented balance and wholeness. The Celestial Mug honours this union of opposites – radiant energy and quiet reflection, fire and water, masculine and feminine. With clear quartz amplifying your intention, this mug becomes a vessel for light, insight, and the calm wisdom of the night sky.

These items are handmade at every stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade.
