Toadstool Mug with Amethyst
Handcrafted Ceramic for Protection, Magic & Forest Wisdom
Step softly into the enchanted forest with this whimsical mug, adorned with hand-sculpted toadstools, dragonflies, and leafy ferns surrounding a potion-like bottle at the heart. It’s a celebration of the wild woods – a space where magic brews in quiet corners and transformation stirs just beneath the surface.
Embedded in the handle is a piece of deep purple amethyst, the stone of spiritual protection, clarity, and calm. Long revered in Celtic lore and Druidic traditions, amethyst was believed to ward off enchantment, soothe the soul, and guide the seeker along true paths.
Glazed in rich woodland greens and mossy undertones, this one-of-a-kind mug is a ritual vessel for herbal tea, moonlit journaling, or your own forest-floor daydreams.

The Hidden Realm Beneath the Toadstool...
In Celtic folklore, toadstools marked portals to the faerie realm – small thresholds to unseen worlds where time flows differently and magic lingers thick in the air. It was said that dragonflies were messengers between these realms, skimming the veil between earth and spirit. The Toadstool Mug is your invitation to wander these liminal spaces. With protective amethyst at your fingertips, this piece becomes a talisman for inner stillness, creative insight, and gentle enchantment among the trees.
These items are handmade at every stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade. These photos are a representation of the piece from this collection you will receive.
