This vessel is born of the henge landscapes—sacred circles of stone raised to honour sky, season, and spirit. Etched across its surface are standing stones, spirals, and flowing patterns that echo ancient cup-and-ring markings, symbols of connection between land and cosmos, body and soul.

The glaze flows in deep greens and twilight blues, grounding yet alive, like moss-covered stones beneath a shifting sky. At the handle rests a natural Smoky Quartz point, a crystal of grounding, release, and transformation. Long revered as a stone of protection, smoky quartz anchors the spirit to the earth while transmuting heavy energies into strength and renewal.

Handcrafted with care, this henge-inspired mug is more than a vessel—it is an altar in your hands. Each sip becomes a grounding ritual, a step into the circle, a reminder that you are held by both earth and sky, just as the ancients once were within the stones.

These items are handmade at every stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade.
