Born of blossoms — oak, broom, and meadowsweet — Blodeuwedd was crafted to be a bride. But she chose her own story, defying her makers and fleeing her fate. As punishment, she was transformed into an owl — banished from the daylight, yet forever gifted with night sight and wild wisdom. She became a symbol of feminine defiance, deep intuition, and the power of metamorphosis.
