The Wild Keeper - Lidded Ritual Vessel

The Wild Keeper honours instinct, resilience and the quiet wisdom that guides us through uncertain terrain.

Created from an iron-rich red earth clay, the rounded vessel is wheel-thrown before being carved by hand with flowing spiral markings. Warm, earthy tones accentuate the natural richness of the clay and the marks left by the making process.

Standing upon the removable lid is a hand-sculpted horned guardian. Sure-footed and watchful, it embodies independence, determination and the courage to follow your own path.

Use the vessel to hold herbs, incense, crystals, written intentions, keepsakes or treasured objects. The Wild Keeper stands above them as a symbolic protector of everything you choose to place within.

A one-of-a-kind ceramic vessel for ritual, intention or the safekeeping of meaningful things.

Each stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade.
