The Moon Seer is a vessel of intuition, reflection and the wisdom found by turning inward.

Wheel-thrown from an iron-rich red earth clay, the vessel has been individually sculpted and carved by hand. A serene face emerges from its surface beneath a crescent moon, surrounded by ancient spiral markings and a raised hand - symbols of inner knowing, protection and the ever-turning cycles of life.

A softly flowing green glaze pools across the surface, settling into the carved details and revealing glimpses of the warm earth beneath.

Use The Moon Seer as a small vase, to hold dried botanicals or sacred objects, or simply place it within your home as a reminder to pause and listen to your own inner guidance.

Each stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade.
