Christmas Pudding Tealight & Festive Dome

Sat 21st Nov 1-3pm

Join us in the studio for a festive session of clay and creativity, creating your own ceramic Christmas piece to bring out year after year.

You’ll be given a pre-made, leather-hard clay dome as your starting point, leaving you plenty of time to concentrate on transforming it into your own festive creation.

Turn your dome into a traditional Christmas pudding tealight with holly leaves and berries, create a tiny winter village or pretend snow globe, or build onto the form to create a snowman. Add little houses, trees, stars, mushrooms, woodland creatures or sculpted details to create your own miniature Christmas world.

You’ll have access to a range of decorating materials and techniques, including underglazes, Christmas stamps and tissue transfers, as well as clay for adding your own handbuilt and sculpted elements.

Once your piece is complete, it will be carefully dried and bisque fired before being clear glazed and fired for a second time.

Your finished piece will be ready to collect from the studio approximately 2–3 weeks after the workshop, ready to add a little handmade magic to your Christmas celebrations.

✨ All clay, materials, glazing and firings are included. No previous pottery experience is needed.
