Green Man Mug with Tiger’s Eye
Handcrafted Ceramic for Protection, Strength & Earth Wisdom
This striking mug channels the power and presence of the Green Man – the ancient guardian of the wild wood. With his face formed from swirling oak leaves and forest vines, he embodies the cycle of growth, decay, and renewal. A symbol of the wild heart of nature, the Green Man watches over the balance between humans and the living land.
Set into the handle is a Tiger’s Eye stone, known in folklore for its grounding energy and protective strength. Tiger’s Eye is a stone of courage and clear vision, said to steady the spirit and sharpen intention – perfect for those who walk with purpose and rooted presence.
Glazed in rich woodland tones of moss green, bark brown, and deep earth blue, this mug brings the forest into your hands – a ritual piece for those who revere nature and the old ways.

Wisdom of the Wildwood...
In Celtic lore, the Green Man is the spirit of the forest – a wild, ancient being who appears in spring to awaken the land. His leafy face watches quietly from trees and stone carvings, reminding us that life and death are part of the same sacred cycle. The Green Man Mug honours this timeless protector, grounding you in nature’s rhythms. With Tiger’s Eye at your fingertips – a stone believed to offer focus, resilience, and protection – this mug is a talisman for those walking the earth with awareness, strength, and reverence.
These items are handmade at every stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade. These photos are a representation of the piece from this collection you will receive.
