Light Bearer – Owl & Quartz
Hand-Built Ceramic Candle Sculpture
A guardian of quiet wisdom and steady illumination.
This Light Bearer holds both flame and crystal - a meeting of earth and fire. Hand-built in clay, she stands robed and crowned in sculpted leaves, her eyes gently veiled in owl form - symbol of intuition, perception, and the ability to see beyond surface appearances.
Set within her chest rests a natural clear quartz crystal point. Known as a stone of clarity and amplification, quartz is often used to focus intention and bring light to what is hidden. When a candle is lit within the lower chamber, the flame rises and glows through the crystal - illuminating it from within.
The back of the piece features a detailed owl motif, wings spread in quiet protection - a reminder that wisdom is both watchful and still.
Glazed in warm earth tones with soft natural variations, each Light Bearer carries the organic marks of hand-building and kiln firing. No two are ever identical.
