The Keeper of the Labyrinth emerges from the clay like a spirit of stone and story. Her calm, watchful face rises above a landscape etched with spirals, cup-and-ring markings, and ancient pathways, symbols found across sacred sites and stone circles of the old lands. These markings speak of journey, memory, and connection - the eternal dance between earth and spirit.

Her flowing hair becomes the contours of the landscape itself, weaving through carved spirals and labyrinth lines that invite the seeker to travel inward. She stands as a reminder that every path, no matter how winding, leads us home to ourselves.

These items are handmade at every stage in the making process and so each is unique. From creating the form, to hand making each batch of glaze, to hand carving and hand painting the designs, many variances are found at each stage of the process. Each piece is mindfully created in my studio over a number of weeks, with each finished piece having its own subtle differences. That is the beauty of handmade.
